Probably a very basic question, but I'm in the process of moving house & would like to upgrade from the standard Sky digibox to a motorised setup. What are the requirements space wise to get best use ot of a motorised dish, ie does it have 360 degree clear air space or does it only move within a certain arc ? & I presume it can be ground mounted ??

    Thanks

very basically it needs a clear arc up to 45 degrees east and west of true south although in practice most sites have less than this. It can be ground mounted if there are no obstrctions like trees etc in its "line of site" to the satellites.

    Good luck
