NF7-M motherboard

    I am having trouble with my mother boards,the line in,mic in,and two other ports dont work,the main one works grand,its there someone i have to enable,i have them checked in windows xp,volume uop and everything?got a tv card yest doesnt really help with no sound?

    Sounds to me like windows is set up to use 5.1 speakers with the mic/line in/out being used as speaker outputs rather than the separate speaker outputs that board should have. Check it in advanced properties of the volume control. If that board has nVidia soundstorm (think it does, the NF7-S does anyway), install the software for that.

    Just incase its not sorted, there is a program called NVswap which will allow you to change the port settings and switch what the ports are outputing........
