Can anyone recommend some proxy server software? Preferably free :)
It's for a net cafe and i've only used one other, so not too sure what's good.

    Thanks,
    Rob

is difficult to set up? the way i'm going to do this is, use a comp + dsl modem to connect to the net, i then want to connect the other machines via switch to the server. ipcop looks good, i'll download and test it soon :)

Squid - free, runs on linux or even *gasp* windows
    http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-1.html#squid-NT

Easy to setup and configure plus very flexible and stable

IpCop uses squid, and it couldn't be easier to set up.
