It's was one of the more painful piercings for me and if you are getting a keeper to hide it for work reasons it can get pretty annoying because if you get a cold or runny nose the keeper will keep falling down.

it was by far the sorest piercing i've had. it also healed much quicker than anything i've got aswell.

It's definitely the most painful piercing I've had, but it never got infected and I change between a ring and a keeper quite often

I agree amazingly painful, but well worth it in my opinion. I've had mine for over 12 years and have had no problems! The only bad part is getting a cold/runny nose. If you wear a retainer (keeper), you can lose it in tissues, but I currently don't wear anything in it. It shrunk slightly without jewelry but now it's fine. Originally done at a 12 gauge, it is now about 14.(I don't know if Irish sizes are different than US.) Hope this helps.
