My piercing was going coming forward a little and say on 25% of the bar showing over 3-4 years of catching it on stuff... then 2 weeks ago caught it really bad and now about 60% of the bar is showing... Has anyone taken out there nipple piercing and got it redone?

How long before you can get it repierced and is it stronger or weaker the second time? And anyone left with bad scars? I had my eyebrow done twice and the first time it ripped out and the second time i took it out when it was hanging on by a thread and the second one left a bigger scar. So looking for peoples horror storys or sucess stories

I caught mine several times and eventually had to take it out as it was going a bit ripe... i never got it repierced but i am left with scarring (sort of like a lump) on each side... i wonder... do rings catch less than bars... my bar was always catching...

Take it out now b4 it grows out or gets caught again. Leave it a good while and you can have it re- pierced, make sure its done by a professional. Try if possible to have the new piercing done slightly below the old one. Its bad news trying to pierce scar tissue. Eyebrows have a good chance of growing out, again as soon as it starts gtting thin, take it out, let it heal and have it re-done later. It will end up being a big scar if you dont.

Hey thanks 4 d advice braveheart. Went into body shock on tuesday (its moved about 4-5 doors down from where it is… the tattoo place where it used to be pretended to be bodyshock I wasn’t happy about that) but sure I found the new place and your man in there told me to take it out and just leave it to heal on its own, then wait about 3 weeks and if its fully healed then he can pop another one in just behind it. Im so glad I did take it out, cause it was dangerously close and within 24 hours of taken it out it was nearly back to normal. Id say if it had of ripped fully out id be left with a deformed nipple :) nightmare

Yeah, I had a few piercings, 7 in total, but never more than 2 at a time, so I've re-pierced loads of times.
I had my first nipple piercing torn out playing american football in college, that was pretty sore. I bandaged the bloody mess, got the other one pierced, and after the scaring went down, pierced the original one again. I'm left with an odd scar, but there's a big thick bar through it, who's looking for a scar? The thing no one ever tells you is that (as a guy) your nipple get MUCH bigger, my pierced one is at least twice the size of the other.

Had eyebrows re-pierced after they'd been taken out, been lucky, none of them has ever grown out or been ripped out, and they've all be grand, no problems yet..

    Hope you're doing alright!

Yea i agree, no matter wither it starts falling out or not your left with one bloke nipple and one girl nipple :) i supose some people would pay for that change :)

My scaring has gone down fully but i think i wont get it repierced cause i used to have to be SO careful when messing (drunk pile-on's etc) and its great not having to worry about it.

I hear that ye should allow 6 months before re piercing a nipple.

I've had the left one re pierced, but I left it about 3 years. it was harder to pierce than the right one.
