has anyone noticed there are loads of jobs on nixers but when you reply you hardly get aresponse. I say I sent out well over 70 in a month and got 1 interview. its not like i'm unemployable, supervised a petrol station for 6 months for god sake!

any whay i got so sick and tired of seeing that stupid add for make sales i decided to send an aplication, here it is!:

    whats the story!!!

I tink i'd be rapid at this job cause I knows alot about blaeden make-up.dere is alot of ****e make up out dere but all the virgin stuff is bang on. Like other day me bird sheryl went out and bought some blaeden tub of crap from boots, I was well pissed off at her i brought the stuff backs to da shop but day wouldn't change it cause we only being usin a little of it.

so what im sayin iz dat i can sells da make up ya have, i know loads of burds that want cheap ship to pile on for when we hitz the tiles on a fridays. so give uz a call and we can go for few pints and talks about work.

If not we can jus stall it to da park withs a few tinnies and have an animal buzz, i can bring some lads and we can have a make up party!, but no bleaden bridal party! what!

    animal buzz!!!!!

It's extremely rude for an employer not to even an acknowledge an application . I applied for a job about 3 weeks ago direct to the employer via their specified method (email) and heard nothing back. It was bugging me so I rang him and he was in no way apologetic and in fact was quite dismissive. I got the line that he had hundreds of applications which I still find hard to believe and the post was filled anyway. He said "i'm busy, I have to go" and basically that was that.

I followed up by email with him and I explained that even with hundreds of applications, a couple of hours would at least send everyone a reply. I also told him that as of that day I was an ex-customer. I used to buy product in his shop all the time. So I sent off the email and I got a smart reply (one of the ones where the person doesn't even address you by name) - it said : thank you for your very valuable feedback. Regards.....

I had one final reply and it was - see, it doesn't take long to reply to an email, does it?

not surprisingly, he had no comeback line on that one.

So, the moral of my little story is this. Employers for many jobs may be able to pick and choose and although you are probably the most qualified for the job, they'll go for someone just starting out who will proably accept the job at less salary than you will.

    Sorry for rambling....
