Good news for eircom Home starter folks

Word has it that eircom are dropping their premium rate suppt line from 74c per min(1550) to local rate (1890), possibly as early as next week, for home starter DSL customers and now the bad news (you all knew there would be bad news) eircomnet free dialup customers will now be faced with a 94c per min suppt line.

is this that 'basket' thing again like eircom used in the past to increase line rental while lowering call costs?
