247 min of music

    I have a file with 247min of music but its a DJ set, with no gaps in it and i want to fit it on to a few cds is there a piece of software that can do this or has it to be done manually ?

    Get something like sound forge or wavelabs and split the individual sections into seperate files

    If you're planning to make it into normal audio CD's I'd suggest splitting it up into a decent number of logical tracks then burning them in order with the pause between tracks set to 0 seconds. This should be able to provide the effect of a constant stream of music while giving you the added power of skipping forward easily
    (Check that this method works seamlessly on whatever you're using to play them first).

    If you don't have a proper audio editing package handy then nero has a simple track editor that should allow you to save individual tracks out of the file (probably only one at a time).

    If you get a cue sheet, you can either burn it with Nero, or use MP3DirectCut to automatically split it to many MP3s:
