Website for bands gear?

    Does anyone know if there is a website out there that tells you what make of instruments/amps/etc. bands have used in their recordings or what gear they used for their tours or on certain albums? Like a database for bands? I tried google but no luck!

    Ferdi, are you sure that searching for "Kurt Cobain" + <anything> + "Gear" will bring back what he's looking for?

    I get the feeling it may return "alternative" results... :)
