Definitely go for the 16ms response time. Contrast are important to some ppl, not to me. Also go for DVI instead of analog if your gfx card supports it. It does make a huge difference.

Dont know about that particular Samsung, try google for reviews. I have the LG1710B and am very happy with it. Works great on games as well. The Viewsonic is great for gaming too from what I gather from ppl here but a bit more expensive than the LG.

Also get one with the smallest dot pitch as you can.

A normal crt is --- Dot Pitch / Pixel Pitch 0.2 mm
That tft is --- Dot Pitch / Pixel Pitch 0.294 mm

I can really see a differance is video quality in my friends monitor especially when your trying to snipe ppl in games like COD and such, it's just harder to make them out.Thats why i havent switched to tft's yet and also the fact that it will be hard to find a 19'' tft with a response time under 20ms.

My friend has a 19'' hansol H950 but after playing on it,i wouldent recommend it for gaming http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=117135&cks=PRL

**the response time looks good on that monitor that you linked to**
