    I have no clue how much my current pc is worth and i wish to sell it fairly soon so thought i'd ask for advice here.

    Monitor :: Benq FP557s 15 inch TFT
    Case :: Shuttle SB51G
    Graphics Card :: Radeon 9500 Pro
    Memory :: 512 333Mhz
    HDD :: 40 gig Maxtor
    Optical Drive :: Plextor Plexwriter 40/12/40 (complete with Nero)
    CPU :: P4(B) 2.66 @ 2.91Mhz
    Floppy Drive
    Generic Keyboard
    Mouse :: Logictech Mx500
    Onboard Network Card
    Onboard Soundcard
    4 USB 2.0 Ports
    2 Firewire Ports
    Digital Line out
    Generic Speakers and Subwoofer.

    I just built a new computer with better specs than that for 650euro.

    So in my opinion, you could get at most 550 for that.

    No way. I'd say its resale value is about €750

    The TFT alone is worth more than €150, and the components are all good quality.

    Plus it's a complete system and since its a shuttle it probably looks the part. If you're selling it online, make sure you include a few good quality snaps.

    You would build it new for 750 but the average joe doesn't know that so you probably would get e750 for it if you sell it in the right place.

    Oops, i thought it was a standard monitor.

    Considaring its a TFT i would say 600euro then, 650 would be pushing it. The difference between a 15" TFT and a 17" CRT is only 50 eur.

    Or on the FS board, about €50.
    But you should be able to squeeze 600-700 out of it.
    €900 off the.. less than smart purchaser
