    Apart from a Freeview box which probably won't work here in Tipp. is there any other way of picking up free channels? would I need a dish/antenna on my roof for this to work? ..*total newbie*
    any suggestions great or small will be appreciated

    You best option here would be Satellite FTA. Why not post this in the Sat Section where I would imagine that you would be well answered

    Satellite is the only legal way of viewing hundreds of free TV channels.

    I saw the pm exchange earlier and assumed it was in relation to satelite info and at the time I agreed with ShaneOC ie this being a community, helpfull legal information should be posted here and not offered in private, its what the forum is about
    However
    The poster in question openly invited pm's for information on what he later informs us on this thread to be a private company.
    That is a Big No NO
    To the poster concerned I have sent you a pm about this consider this notification that such activity is not tolerated either in ICDG or in Boards in general and can merit a banning.
