Nero waking up hard drives

Hi Why does Nero burning software every time its launched wake up hard drives out of their sleep ? ( I have version 6, also happened to earlier versions ) Its quite annoying as i have 9 drives set to spin down after about 5 mins inactivity. Is it some stupid setting within Nero ?

afaik it scans the SCSI/IDE buses when it starts. I assume to check for CD/DVD recorders/media and stuff.

Wtf are you doing with 9 drives?
