JUst noticed a small issue with dual record - looks like you have to have one of the channels tuned in if you are going to leave the recording un-attended. Looks like the Sky+ box thinks it doing a dual record for you , so you can only change channel by turning the recording on and off manually

I think what happens is the box will ask that if you want to continue watching the channel you are on you must cancel one of the recordings, not sure what happens if you dont respond, I'm guessing it records only one of the planned recordings.

Its a good point you raise, perhaps it should change to the planned recording if it gets no response from the message.

Otherwise I'm guessing putting the box in standby will do the trick.

Anyone else had experience with this?

If you are tuned to channel A and channel B & C are programmed for dual recording, you will get a warning message when the three channel clash occurs. If you do nothing channel B or C will appear one minute later and the dual record will work fine.

Conclusion: It does not matter what channel you leave the box tuned to for unattended dual recording to function correctly.
