Discovering RAM type

    Folks,
I placed an order for RAM a while ago from ebuyer, com, but got a hard drive instead, placed a new order for the hard drive, it arrived OK, and meant to send back the RAM.

Thing is, I think it's the same as the RAM in my machine at the moment, but can't be exactly sure. It's Crucial 512Mb DDR PC2700, unbuffered.

Is there a program to tell me exactly what kind of RAM I have, or how else would I find out? I'm running an AthlonXP 2000, XP.

    Cheers,
    S.

or memtest does a good job of telling you what ram you have, smaller download if your on 56k.

I downloaded that Sandra thingy, but didn't tell me the right info. Took the risk and installed the RAM, I'm now running on 1Gb successfully :)

    Cheers anyways.
