    Anyone see it?
    No?
    Luck you.

It was tripe, i quite like him, and enjoy skinner and baddile and that stuff, but this was utter tripe. the curse of the ITV sitcom strikes again, obvious jokes, badly setup and repeated again and again.... really really bad.

That show hurt here (/me points to brain) and here (/me points to heart)

Yeah watched it last night "hoping" it would be good but didn't hope for much given ITV's track record with comedies!
And well, basically it was pure drivvel. Really dire stuff. I had to turn it off half way through!

As already said, the jokes were so bloody obvious, you could see them coming a mile away. And that's all they were, jokes! And cheap ones at that. It was as if he tried to work a sitcom around his monologues that he does at the beginning of his chat show. And what was the story with him repeating or making reference to every joke through out the 15 mins that I managed to watch. I know in comedy that making reference to previous jokes or comments can give the audience a sense of a shared joke, but this normally works better in stand up.

His acting (if you could call it that!) was atrocious. Again, it just seemed like he was doing one of his sketches on hs chat show!!

It seems really harsh to put the show down like this, after all it is his first attempt, but there really was no redeeming points about this show. I really can't see it getting any better with time. Another waste of money by ITV!!

    B.

It's not his first attempt, he wrote and starred in Blue Heaven in 1992, looks like he's 0 for 2....
