combining groups A B and C/D aerials

I have a triax unix 100 group A and a group B aerial both with separate masthead amps combined with a fringer a-e diplexer (dc pass on both spurs).

I want to add a C/D aerial to bring in TV 3 (66) and TG4 (68) from my local tx -Maghera. I am receiving gr B channels from Cairn Hill 40, 43, 46 and 50, Castlebar on 23, 29 and 33 and the Balla deflector on 21, 27, 31, and 35. No TV 3 from Cbar and have patterning on TV 3 ch 46 from Cairnb Hill.

I it possible to do so - I wont need to amplify the C/D signals butr want to combine all 3 aerials in a single downlead. I realise I may need a C/D filter to stop the strong local signals being picked up and amplified by the gr B aerial system which could call ghosting.

    Any advice would be welcome.

On the Fringe Electronics Website you can email a guy called Ernie with all your requirements and he will send a reply with all the Fringe components you require, and contact details of the Irish suppliers.

I found this very useful in the past, but naturally enough they only recommend Fringe products

Above has 2 inputs, you'll just need to cut the line power to high input. It would need to be put before the amplifier of course.

    Triax TMC5153 STP
Above is similar with high input side covering 53-69. Power pass is switchable with screws provided.

I would imagine that you'd need two grouped combiners, the first to take the downleads from the UHF aerials for Maghera & Carin Hill where the latter would be fed into the high input (eg E53-68) and the Carin Hill input fed into the E21-51 input. Take the output of that and feed it in with the deflector aerial output to an A/E combiner with the deflector input going to "A" (21-37) and the combined output of the Carin Hill/Maghera combination into "E" (39-68). Make whatever adjustments are necessary to allow DC passthrough for respective masthead amplifiers.

Best thing is to look around and see what is most suitable.

that leads to quite a loss on the c/d channels and the deflector gr A channels. ifa ll put through same masthead amp
