Edit:Apologies if this should be in the Windows board...not sure if its the hardware or the software...? Just wondering if anyone knows why the ChkDsk thingie checks my hard drive everytime i boot up. Just had a tempory powercut which caused the computer to shut down incorrectly. Now everytime i restart it checks the disks…

Just wondering if anyone knows why the ChkDsk thingie checks my hard drive everytime i boot up. Just had a tempory powercut which caused the computer to shut down incorrectly. Now everytime i restart it checks the disks for consistency or whatever. Anyway to fix the problem with the hard drive...or the program?
