I remember thinking as a kid why couldnt there be a 12 hour episode. wake up in the morning watch it till bed time and wake up next morning ready for another 12 hours in the life of the A team

seemed perfectly logical to me at the time:D

What a program, never get tired of it even now. RTE have the right idea, they're showing it on Net 2 every Sat evening now!!

I always found it amusing that no one ever got shot in it unless it was necessary for the plot. It truly would take the worlds most skilled marksmen to fire as many bullets as they did over the shows lifetime without hitting anyone unnecessarily.

did you know that no one ever got killed in that show

    I didn't remember anyone ever being killed but I wasn't 100% sure.

My other favourite 'amusing feature' was the way the bad guys would consistantly lock the A-Team in a barn, workshop, warehouse, etc with packed with enough hardware to build a DIY tank and a small arsenal of home made munitions.

and face would always get murdock out of the hospital every week then murdock would get separated from the others and help get them out of the barn/workshop ect

when I was young i was a fan of MrT but not so much of the A-team (by young I mean I was less than 10). I have always found it annoying the way each week they build a similar type armoured car/truck then they spray bullets at each other without hitting anyone while the odd stuntman jumps off a building into some straw

Yeah, but that's the beauty of it. When you're a kid you don't ask why they never get hurt and why the good guys always win- they just did and kicked ass doing it. That was the major draw for me when I watched it in the 80's.

someone did die. i saw it on NET2 a few weeks back. it was some bloke gettin on a plane, possibly a private jet, with the a-team and he got shot in the back by a sniper/south american baddy baddy fella with an aK-47. i think he was killed because he was gonna tell squeal to the cops about some big south american drug baron baddy fella. i remember he had a daughter that was kidnapped in the episode. i think it was actually a "to be continued episode..." aswell but i didnt get to see the 2nd part.

but he definately died...............unless he came back to life in part 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No way!!!! :D Well, I'm sure there was a feel-good message in there somewhere about the futility of violence and good will always win over evil etc!

Someone got pushed off a building - but that is usually at the start - no one seems to get killed once the A-team shows up - with marksmanship like that no wonder they lost in 'nam.

I'll always remember Deckers quote : 'When I catch them they're gonna be the Z-Team'.

You can only learn humour like that in the Military Police.

Saw the "man from uncle" crossover a couple of weeks ago and Robert Vaughn(spelling?) killed the guy who played Illya Kuriakin(spelling?).

It was the first time I remeber the good guys killing somebody.
