In the last episode of SG1 season 7 the presidant orders someone to contact the goverments of the gould attack. The goverments they contacted where

China Russia - Yes understandble
France Britten - Ye ok i suppsose
Canada - WTF? what can canada do why would they contact canada to warn them?

Germany would be a better choice than canada. There is no sence to the canada idia that i can see.

NORAD is headquartered in Cheyenne Mountain.

In a episode ages ago they let russia know
Then they let france britten and china know.

There was never any mention of canada ever knowing,

I'd actually go as far as to presume the Canadians have been in on the act from the beginning. They, along with the US, operate NORAD, so I assume that they have access to all the NORAD data and projects. Particularly since the SGC is in the same complex!

It's filmed in Canada - it's not Canadian. Otherwise "The X-Files" (for the earlier seasons) was Canadian, as were countless other shows. It's American by virtue of the fact that it's financed by an American cable channel (Sci-Fi).
