Any Holga users out there?

I've just developed my first roll from a Holga I picked up in Spain. The results were not exactly impressive, though I'm hoping that with the brighter weather around the corner I'll have better results.

Anyone got one and have any tips?

I have one. Only used it once. The results can be quite nice if you get a fast enough film. Can get nice 'dreamy' shots if you deliberately blur the photo.

I don't even know if there's a knack to using it, just experiment.

Depends what phography you like, I guess.

iv only developed 2 rolls from my holga and am waiting on my third, and i found that you do need the better weather to get good results. did you get the holga with the flash?

did you get the holga with the flash?

Yep. For the extra whatever price I decided to *splash out* on the flash model. I haven't taken any shots with the flash yet, have you had any luck with it?

I've picked up some colour and b&w film from the Lomo site, I've just loaded some 400 asa b&w into the Holga. I've taken out the insert so I'm going for the 6*6 format shots. The first roll was 6*4.5 so the light bleed was not so obvious, plus the crap weather didn't help.

I've also got one of the action samplers, but don't have any shots developed from it yet. A friend has one and she's taken some wonderful shots with it.

Did you see that Urban Outfitters are selling action samplers with r/g/b/y colored lenses for 24 euro?
