The Planning Enforcement Scandal.

    Prime time on planning enforcement

The reality is worse, planners do nothing to enforce decisions, especially proper planning type decisions and then grant retrorespective retentions to justify their own incompetence.

My advice, build it, ignore the conditions and relax. They will do nothing . There is no point in being honest with them , not in Connaught anyway. Once they write a letter then apply for retention.

you would be taking a big chance if you did that.

Remember the family down in Kerry who claim they followed Jacke Healy-Rae's advice and built a house without PP.
, then had to knock it down?

    same could happen to you

Guy up the road from me was granted permission subject to 9 conditions.
He ignored all of them and built a place at the back without permission, the appplied for retrospective permission.
    No problem, granted straight away.

Meanwhile a family who applied to build a house 50 metres from this one were refused permission - in a buffer zone, contrary to council policy etc.

    Yes it is in Connacht!
