Are you looking for a move but just cant seem to find the time to look for the right job?

This is where I can help. Until recently I have spent many years as a senior manager in Hospitality and have now changed my focus to recruitment.

My promises to you are this: I have genuine well paid jobs with Dublin's finest that need to be filled ASAP.

All of our dealings will be in confidence, I will listen to you and discuss your future prospects.

None of these services will cost you a penny.

In return what I need from you is that you have at least 1 full years experience in Hospitality or Catering, I need you to be honest about your past and your plans for the future.

If you are satisfied with the service that you tell your colleagues, friends, relatives etc;.

If you are interested please PM me and I'll let you know the email address to send your CV to.

Actually, there's no advertising there, and it's an opportunity for someone to be employed, so I don't see why it shouldn't be allowed.

The rules say no advertising. After all, it is no different to James Melody offering first options on places in Eircom, or whever it is he works...

He used the words dynamic and outgoing though. Surely that's a banning offence?

But thats for a specific position, this guy is looking for CV's to put forward for various
positions in various hotels/restaruants etc, so basically hes acting in the exact same
way as a recuitment agency would work.. if he isnt working for one already...

    Still not advertising though.
If people are still going to send thei CVs to an agency, they would do it, regardless of whether or not there is a post on Boards.ie.
    Do you not agree?

so really, the only thing happening here is that *if* someone is interested in this line of work, then it's an additional option to any that they already have?

    Does that make much sense?

And we already have recruitmant agencies who advertise positions on Boards.ie.
Would you prefer actual positions be put up, rather than an agency service, as I could go with that.

well, thanks for your concern paddy, but firstly, I'm not a 'he', so that's one point your wrong on. the other point you're wrong in assuming is that I didn't read the rules.

i read the rules and checked with WWM to make sure it was OK to post, and got his OK, before posting. i even got him to read through the post before I put it up, and he was fine with the content, so I don't see a problem at all.

so I take it you're not ambitious, dynamic, outgoing or underpaid then?

maybe you know someone who is though who'd like to get a better job than they already have. if you do then you know where I am.

I'm just trying to help people out here, myself included obviously, and since I'm not doing any harm or making any false claims, I don't see a problem, especially as I have permission from 2 moderators. ;)

So what do you mean by "hospitality professional"?
It's a very broad term - could mean anything from barman to hotel porter.

Generally the vacancies are mid-level upwards, junior managers right up to GM's, but I also have receptionists and a few F&B positions.

if you do have skills in these areas (or any other hospitality skills) and at least a years good full time experience then send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.

I'll try and get a full list of the exact available positions by tonight.

in the same way that terry pratchett uses the term 'ladies of negotiable affection'?

    hospitality professional could mean *anything*!
