I've just connected with Chorus digital (stop laughing at the back) and am just wondering if I can tune in any extra channels (for free!) doesn't matter where they are from. I would prefer to mess with the box/tuning rather than hanging out of my dish on the roof ! LOL
If anyone could offer a newbie some ideas or point me in the right direction it would be great. Thanks

Well if you have the Movies package with Chorus you get all 9 Sky movie channels.

Yeah the radio Channels would have been great, 10 years ago....

TBH Ill be getting rid of chorus once they get Channel 4. Theve already screwed me when they discontinued their Wireless Phone........... Anyway enough with the Chorus Bashing:o

Do you have the full Package .ie Sky Sports 1,2,3?

    Oh and Welcome:)

No, you cannot add any channels onto chorus. The mesh dish aerial they install is pointing to a nearby chorus mast site, not a satellite. Therefore you can only get the channels which chorus re-distribute in digital format through their mast site. The aerial will not pick up the satellite frequencies. You may be able to get the BBC channels for free. Try tuning into one of them, remove the card, and see if you can still watch it. If you can, then simply buy a second sagem box and you will get them free. As far as I know, though, everything is encrypted, and they only carry about 50 channels.
