Im on ISDn at the moment and dial upvia no-limits.
Im living in Monasterevin ,Co Kildare and apparently Broadband wont be in this area until 2006.
Im kind of thinking about Satelite Broadband form Digiweb.
I know very little about Broadband in general and need to know is Digiweb Satelite BB any good at all?
It is the SKystar offer im thinking about on link below.
    Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Checkout irishwan at:

    http://www.dublinwan.org/dw/FrontPage

They are a community of people that share wireless access to the internet.
They should have coverage in your area.

@Dcully: If your a gamer, satellite is rubbish - and unless there have been some changes, the deals digiweb offer in terms of satellite are damn expensive.

Your best bet is to follow up on proteus' suggestion. DublinWAN now extends as far as Clane/Sallins.
According to this irishwan thread, theres a member with Line of Sight to Monasterevin.

Your best bet is to register on the irishwan boards and post your location and see what sort of feedback you get.
