Had a look thru and did a search but I couldnt find anything on this topic.

I was wondering does anyone know of a insurance company that provides contents insurance for someone who is renting accomodation. I checked with all the major insurance companies ie all the banks, Hibernian, etc and got the knock back from all of them.

Have some fairly substainal electrical and computer stuff in my place and its really only a matter of time when living in Dublin and in a not so great area. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Had some trouble myself. Went with bank of ireland in the end. A lot of the insurers simply won't touch renters. I think I found 2 with BOI offering the best cover by far. By the way, neither of them would offer cover to someone sharing a house with non-family members. If that is you situation good luck.
