I've heard very good things about them, but never anything by them. They played here not so long ago. Just before Christmas I think it was. But I could be wrong.

Theyre like a mix of punk and king diamond. Not my cup of tea at all....but its not my position to criticise so whatever floats your boat..

they played twice last year. they were deadly both times. i definitly recommend them. they've got a gay image and the songs are rock'n'roll with a healthy dose of punk, i suppose, they're a hard band to pigeonhole.

    They're alright.

    Asscobra is a good album.

Turbonegro are great! Get Apocalypse Dudes, feel good rock stuff done very well. Think most of there stuff can be picked up pretty cheap on the internet ... try amazon. Very cheesy lyrics and image though :)

Their stuff is almost impossible to get in Ireland though. I've only ever seen Ass Cobra in Tower and it was about 24e. But they are a real good rock n roll band.

I'm a hardcore Turbonegro fan and attended both gigs in Dublin last year. Had the time of my life!
For people new to Turbonegro, I would strongly recoment Apocolypse Dudes from 1998 (The last album to be release before their legendary break up) or Darkness Forever, which is a live album recorded on their infamous 98 tour.

Do yourself a favour, check them out!
