I recently finished building my pc (check for the thread "New budget PC"), and i'm getting most of the stuff from Jes-computer.de and some stuff from komplett. The komplett stuff is payed for and in the post (well, it will be on monday).

But, how does the "advance payment" thing work for jes? When i go to my bank, what form am i looking for, and what details should i include to speed up my order process.

I know i need to put in the swift code, and i have that ready, but i don't actually know what form i have to fill in :p

Just go to the bank and they will help you out. That what I did. AS long as you have all the details esp the IBAN number you should be grand.

well, if i even knew a bit about the form (or what i'm doing) it would help. The last thing i need is the bank person to go "What are you on about!" and not have a clue.

And once i get the payment sent, what do i do then? Do i e-mail jes-computer with the payment details, along with my order number? Or is that enclosed with the payment?

You place your order on jes computer and you will get an e-mail to verify your order has been placed. The iban number will be with this, you need the swiftcode as well.

Then just go to your bank and tell them you want to do a bank transfer. Can't remember what the form is. Just tell them your ordering off a site and you need to transfer money to a german bank and you have the iban and swift. They will know.

You don't need to e-mail jes. As soon as your money clears (about 5 working days) your order will be dispatched and will probably take about another week.

That's how mine went anyway. Great service.

Just make sure you fill in the swift code to speed up payment: GENODES1RWT

You CAN'T use the IBAN payment form without having both the IBAN (account number) and BIC (swift code). If you transfer money using the old system, with name and address of branch, they'll charge you about €20 for the transfer. You have been warned...
