Laptop repair

I have an IBM Thinkpad T-20 and the fan is busted. When I try to boot up, it halts and gives a "Fan Error" message. The fan doesn't spin up at all.

Is there anyone out there who is familiar with laptops who would be able to help me replace the fan? I can pay. Not much, but money all the same.

Or does anyone have advice about how to do it myself?

    Thanks.

the fan mightn't even be broken, its probably just gotten disconnected from its power source (usually a 2/3 pin header on your motherboard). Some laptops can be very tricky to open up, and this usually voids the warranty, but if the fan is just disconnected it should be trivial to open her up and reconnect it.
