Old speccy RPG game

    Ok so the thread about your first computer below started me thinking and remembering. In particular I remembered an old RPG I used to play but can't for the life of me remember the name of. IIRC it started out with you building your character and thena cross country trek during which you gathered a party together and fought monsters. Finally you entered the castle/dungeon and fought your way through to the big bad boss. Can anyone help me with the name of this?

    Sounds like it could be "The Bard's Tale". Does this look familiar?

    Sadly it's neither of these (though they are both great games). IIRC the game was very similar to the bards tale alright

    was it viewed from the side and all your heroes enter an area together and you meet a goblin sitting on a mushroom and you had to solve problems?

    Nope it was a much more straightforward hack and slash affair.

    Dunno maybe I'm having flashbacks to something that never happened :)
