    Yeah I saw it...

    Embarassing for all concerned, the arguments/counters were pathtic.
    A half our research on either side and they would have destroyed each others arguments.

    Realplayer will do it, although Mediaplayer classic with the realplayer codec is better!

    Point taken. In my defence I will say that it felt incredibly dirty to follow that report on Rwanda and it's definitely a different kettle of fish when your stuck in front of those two cameras and that guy going 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 blah blah. I've gone over it in my head a lot since.

    I definitely froze and dropped the second question about the ratio of blank CDs to real albums sold. Its obvious that is because of their use for both domestic and professional data storage.



    However I will stand by any other argument in our position on the issue (not fully represented on the show) and welcome any debate on it in order for us to better copper-fasten it from scepticism. The whole 'that 12 year-old could be a serial downloader' comment was classic and spelt out exactly why the industry needs to have its venom pointed into positive approaches as opposed to gung ho, credibility destroying (and indeed potentially expensive) civil law actions.

    Anyway, next time I'll know what to do!


    (And I got to meet 7-sprogs-and-I'm-still-turbo-gorgeous Miriam!!!)
