    If you in Ireland, the next usefull size up to get stuff not working or marginal on 90cm is a 1.4m Dish. Because we are off the edge of Nordic and Central / East european beams.

    For many feeds also a larger dish is needed

    The Triax 1.1 / 1m dish is available about €160 in Ireland

    Above 1m price rises rapidly. So does postage.

    A 1.2m needs a 4" dia pole and something stronger than an ordinary diseqc H-H motor if you want positioner.

    Tony and seano that post here probabily sell the 1.1 Triax.

    I just got the following package;

    Technomate 5500CIP
    Fortec start 1.2mtr
    1224 HtoH motor (nice and fast)
    3" pole and very sturdy mount
    15mtrs of cable and instructions

    For around €750 delivered from the UK

    Works a charm in south Mayo.

    Grayarea.

    Not true in my experience. There is a huge difference between those two sizes but any extra surface area added after 1M is quite big. Maybe i am just poor at aligning these things but as my attraction was pulled further west i needed get a larger dish although i did try the shortcuts like "better" LNb's.

    I would imagine the only 1.2M dish that you could get here easily would be a Channel Master and you would pay a nice premium for that.
