    Here it is, enjoy:D

    Snooker goes interactive!
Television viewers across all digital platforms will be able to access BBC Sport's interactive services during the 2004 World Snooker Championship in Sheffield.
Pressing the red button on your remote control will give you, for the first time, exclusive live access to both tables at The Crucible.

Starting at 1000 BST each morning, two hours before terrestrial coverage begins, BBC Sport will deliver uninterrupted coverage of both tables meaning that snooker fans will not miss any of the action.

The service will also include an up-to-date news and statistics service.

During snooker coverage on BBC One and BBC Two, viewers will be prompted to be press the RED key.

Outside of BBC One and BBC Two coverage, viewers need to press RED or TEXT and then select SNOOKER INTERACTIVE from the menu.

Please note that Freeview viewers may not be able to access the full service at certain times on weekends.

P.S. I suppose ROI will get this now that BBC is FTA.

The snooker was interactive last week on Sky. They showed all matches too. BBC Copy-cats.;)

this is great news. Hate it when you have to watch the highlights. I can never resist checking the result on teletext and it ruins it.

Great news indeed, although it is about 3 years overdue TBH. :(

Also, the World Snooker is supposed to only the start of a big summer of ineractive sport on the Beeb with the Olympics supposed to be one of the biggest interactive events ever seen.

Sky have been doing interactive now for a few years, and yes its the biz. I think this year may have been the first where Sky offered commentary on both tables.

They also offered it only while the snooker was actually being broadcast, unless the snooker went over schedule, in which case viewers were told to 'go interactive to continue viewing', if you happened to slip out of interactive after the scheduled show, then you lost all access to coverage.

I am looking forward to more beeb interactive sports, but does anyone know why they didn't have interactive on the semi- and quarter-final FA Cup games (as far as I remember they did have interactive on these in previous years).

I never missed a bit of coverage on Sky, I never exited the interactive screen so I was ok.

As for the FA cup, BBC do not have the sole rights to the coverage, they get one match and Sky get the other.

I know that eirebhoy, they shared the FA Cup rights last year too, but BBC did interactive on their games. Was just wondering why not this year (I like the option of listening to 5Live commentary).
