    Condoms are the devil but an necessary evil. Myself and my wife got caught using the withdrawal method.We Were using this method for a year before we found out that she was pregnant. Our boy is just over a year old now and We would not change him for the world.

    If your using the Withdrawal method always remember that its a gamble and you must prepare yourself at some stage to become a parent. I was so scared when my wife told me (She was my fiancé at the time) & being a dad is the best thing that has ever happened to me but saying that its a full time job and the hardest job I have ever had and you must be willing to give up your life for your big of fun using the withdrawal method.

    My wife and I now use Condoms. She can not go on the pill for health reasons. Condoms do take away some sensation, but saying that, using the withdrawal method can be crappy also. I have lost orgasms by doing this. Missing the boat as such because I was preoccupied because of having to pull out.

    The condoms I use and find the best is Trojan extra thin and I can get the best feeling with them and I have never had one break on me. If they are breaking on you , you are either 1. Not using them correctly or 2. There is not enough lubrication so you need something like KY liquid. Never use Vaseline or oil because as someone has said it will dissolve the condom.

    lads and lassies coming from a guy who gambled using the withdrawal method and lost I'm telling you to reconsider. If your not prepared to take responsibility for your actions like I have, and believe me my life is not my own any more , I don't have time to scratch my arse, put a rain coat on.

    Not quite. The withdrawal method does nothing - it just means she has 5 million sperm inside her instead of 100 million. Only one sperm needed to become pregnant. It's a pretty sure thing to be honest.

    Not exactly my friend. It is a gamble. I know people who have used this method effetely and before you say it there not sterile. They have had children which were planned. I have had other relenationship were sex was based on using the withdrawal method and they never got pregnant and I am not firing blanks. Its a GAMBLE MATE !

    Well, to be fair Victor, even without protection, there's no such thing as a sure thing. Having unprotected sex doesn't automatically guarantee a person will get pregnant, although the chances go through the roof. There are plenty of people who take a few months of trying to even get pregnant. It depends on a lot of factors. For example, if the man has a relatively low sperm count or motility, and the woman has a particularly strong immune defence, the withdrawal method may work 99 times out of 100.

    I'm not attempting to misinform anyone here. The withdrawal method is horribly unreliable at best, and should never be used as a method of contraception unless in an extreme emergency ("Oh ****e, I forgot to take my pill this week - pull out quickly!"). If you choose to use this method, then you're putting your future in the hands of chance.
