Evening all, Every couple of times a try to shut down my pc i get a blue screen with the above error stated. This happens just after i click shut down. Im runnning XP and this problem seemed to start around the time i installed SP1. any ideas at all? Cheers Wavey

Check that ACPI is enabled in the BIOS.

I just checked the bios and ACPI is enabled and greyed out.

Any other ideas?
