Full screen TV preview Adobe Premiere 6.5

I have recently acquired Adobe Premiere 6.5. I have no instruction manual though. I haven't really had much time to do much with it but one of the things I would like to do but can't is to have the preview monitor(s) viewable full screen on a separate TV monitor via the video out from the PC. I had been doing this successfully with ULead version 6 - All the tools on the PC monitor and full screen video preview on the TV monitor.
I don't seem to be able to do this with Premiere, despite changing all the settings on both the Premiere software and on the Radeon 9200 graphics card installed in the PC. The nearest I have got to it is by extending my desktop across from the PC monitor to the TV. When I do this, I can drag some of the sections in Premiere across to the TV. Can't remember off hand which ones I could drag but the preview monitor was not one of them.

    Anyone have any ideas please?

Premiere is well known to be crappy if not installed with the recomended hardware... I speak from experience, unless they list the graphics card... then you're ****ed.

Sorry it's a **** reply, but I spweak the truth.

Ah well. I guess I'll just have to live with what I have so. I just have to figure out how to work the feckin thing now. I think I might have to buy one of those help books/manuals for it if I want to get anywhere.

    Thanks anyway

Well I'm assuming you 're using a hacked/cracked/illegal version.... I have no symphathy for you in that case.

I do plan on buying Premiere Pro soon as I video tape weddings and all that kind of thing in my spare time. I just got to see if all would work well on my PC. I also want to practice how to use it on this version as I'm fairly sure that Pro is a similar layout. I plan on purchasing Pro about a week before I videotape my next wedding (due to lack of funds) so it will help if I can operate the system at the time of the wedding.

Fair enough, Have you tried searching on the Premiere site? Or done a search in google, I quickly did a search and google threw up a few articles, give it a shot.

With Premiere 6.x you need a card like a DV500 or Pro-One. Neither are sold any more and were not particularly cheap, to say the least. I think the Pro version of Premiere only works with some Matrox cards, but such cards tend to come bundled with the software, so you should check carefully before buying either software or hardware.
