    nah i don't think so cos i'm only getting into BT and someone told me this was the file to get

    It only took me two seconds, but that's probably the 10Mbit line. If you downloaded a 1.4 Meg file in 2 seconds over ISDN and it still works then the only possible explanation is a cached copy on your PC.

    What browser were you using?
    Afaik Firebird/Mozilla/Opera all download the file n the background before you even select "Open With..." / "Save As" or choose where you want to download it.

    is that file not just an insaller? which pulls down the actual 1.4mb

    I got it in two seconds too. But again, I've got 10Mbit connection too. Id say everythings right with the cache idea. Does the file work? If so then just be happy...
