Jimmy wins his first ranking title in 12 years

    Jimmy White last night beat Paul Hunter 9-7 to win the Players Championship at the SECC in Glasgow along witha cheque for STG£82,500. This leaves him in 10th place in the provisional world rankings. :)

    This also means that Jimmy finishes 2nd in this years LG order of merit 20 behind Ronnie who has won with 470 pts.

    I was delighted to see Jimmy win it and it was funny when jimmy's father came over and hugged and kissed both jimmy and hunter at the same time .

    Even paul Hunter was deleighted to see Jimmy win it .

    The last few frames were great too . All in all a very good tournament .
