It was alright, nothing spectacular. Probably because of the real-life origin of the story or whatever but the whole thing just felt like an expensive version of one of those crappy tv-movie's-of-the-week that only women ever rent. Also I didn't think Charlize Theron was nearly as good as all the hype beforehand was suggesting. So she uglified herself for the role? Big deal - would you like a medal (or an oscar?)! Christina Ricci was much better that her in it and naturally stole the show.

BTW (for anyone who's seen it) was the motel room the two women shacked up in same set room from that Richard Linklater movie 'Tape'? It looked like exactly the same set to me.

(as you can tell by the fact that I'm talking about film sets rather than the film itself - the movie didn't exactly overwhelm me)
