No sms texting for me because somehow I'm missing a digit from the service centre number  . Can someone please tell me what the number is?

    Thanks, BM.

Thanks. The bloody number was right!! What can be wrong - any suggestions? It's not the phone either as my last one wouldn't text. Its a ready to go phone.

    Thanks, BM.

i have found with my phone (Sharp GX10i with Vodafone) that sometimes it will not send an SMS.

If I power off the phone, wait a few secs then turn it back on and retry, it works.

of course, that could be just my phone :)

alternatively, ring vodafone, they could take a look at your settings on their system. the problem might not be your phone!!

Call Vodafone. The person you are speaking to will do the normal checks and if that does not sort the problem, they will excalate it to second line.. Make sure you call from a phone other than your mobile so they can make changes and you can test it while on the line.
