ok where in the blue hell do ya download apache??? i have 98, and every time i down load it i get bull**** thats not an .exe!!! i know this is beneth ye but can ye please help!!!

it's a msi? microsoft installer - not recognized by win98...

try http://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/www.apache.org/dist/httpd/binaries/win32/apache_1.3.29-win32-x86-no_src.exe ?

If you want to do offline development and testing with Apache, PHP and MySQL try PHPTriad

http://sourceforge.net/projects/phptriad

Its a .exe installer - well it was when I installed it last year - and everything worked first time.
