Seriously thinking of going for the Sky+ deal. Thing is though, I have only had my current subscription with them since last June, so will I still be able to keep my old digibox if I went sky+ now. I thought sky held ownership of it for 12 months?

Oh you can keep it. Sky don't own it for the first 12 months - you own it from day one, it's just that you have to fulfill contractural obligations like keeping your sub going for 12 months minimum and keeping it connected to a phone line for 12 months.

Handy for the BBC and the few other FTA channels at 28E if you don't want to take out a mirror sub.

In reality they will not look for the box from you and you do not need to connect it to anything if you so wish.
