Jazz/Blues clubs in London

    I'm gonna be spending a weekend in London in May, haven't been there before.
    I'd love to go to a live music venue over there.

    Ronnie Scott's is the first name to spring to mind, had a look, and its about £25 admission, I'm sure there's some less expensive similar pubs/clubs around?

    Can anyone recommend a place with good live music - jazz/blues/funk style?

    Oh and also if you could recommend some good record stores aswell!
