Anyone know of any place were I could pick up a piece of granite about 4’x4’ x 1"
I have an old singer sowing machine that I want to turn into a garden table tried a few quarries but none of them would supply me with anything this size.

    4 feet x 4 feet by ¼ what? If it's a quarter inch, it's way too thin. 4 feet x 4 feet is quite a large slab.

Any headstone, Kitchen worktop, Fireplace, manufacturer, should have what you want... 1" is a bit thin @ 4'sq. A singer sowing machine has a small footprint & your table will be top heavy, I wouldn't like to see small kids around it!!

You could possibly pick up some "waste" material at a handy price.
