Jack & Sharon Osborne

    Has anyone seen their shows?

Sharon Osborne has her own chat show, generally shown late night on Sky One and Jack has his own show, think it's called "Union Jack", shown on E4.

Both are the biggest pile of steaming ****e ever.

I know they are obviously cashing in on the success of their MTV show, but T.V. is getting ridiculous when it's offering us spin-offs of a reality t.v. show.

Anyone else have any views on this?

I've seen Sharon's show... she is really flirty and would be a good interviewer but there is no script and she sort of just rolls with it .. things don't roll together for her... she has had a lot of big celebrities ... but I can't see it hanging on for long.
She is able to piece a show together .. but sometimes it appears to be difficult. She is a good character .. good to watch .. .but in small doses .. surrounded by the rest of the family .. they play off each other ... even at that there are boring bits... it being real life and all...

I can't see her show lasting .. haven't seen Jacks yet.

    I agree.. cash in.

Kill them both for the love of god. And yer other one who is ugly and annoying.

I hate all this cashing in of stuff that, well isint even good. Sure, when was the program ever actually good? A few critics say its good so everyone cashes in on it as much as possible. I have yet to meet someone of the "General Viewing Public" who has liked either the show or the spin off's.

Actually now that you mention them 'The Osbournes' series itself seems to be getting a little out of hand too. When it started off 2 years ago it was something fresh and genuinely felt (ignoring the obvious editing of course) 'fly on the wall' - like they were just following these spoilt people around with fingers-x'd that something interesting might happen.

But the last two series feel like they're 'staging' entire scenarios just as excuses for episodes (and not doing a very good job at it either). I'm not saying the show is scripted just that ideas like 'Hey lets stick Ozzy on a boat and watch him go fishing' doesn't make for engaging television.

The Osbournes probably would have remained in the public conciousness as landmark television if they had axed it after 10 eps, but like most successful television it hangs around too long and ends up ruining it's own legacy. :(

Sharon Osbourne is a bad interviewer imho. Having a talk like that is fine for a tea party at your own house, but it makes bad format for an interview. She asks stupid questions and it's just plain banal. I can't watch it. I'm glad it's axed. The whole show just seemed like some sort lame attempt for them to go "look at the famous people we know and how many people can Sharon flirt with".

Actually you don't, because they did a skit later on re-enacting them scenes, to confuse you, but it was real when it happened originally. The thing you see when he is doing the line over and over was filmed only recently.

I saw one episode of Sharons show, she brings the dogs with her on set, even the big awkward Lola. She did an interview with Will Ferrell on the set of his new movie which was good but the rest of the show was crap!
