Check Patterns/Bright Images

I have noticed on Sky news in particular, that the picture displays black lines in places, especially on very bright images, or "check" pattern images.

I have only noticed this since I installed Sky+, but I think it may be the broadcast and not the reciever.

I have always been aware of the television not being able to cope with check pattern type images but it seems worse lately on Sky News.

    Anyone noticed this?

I watch in RGB mode but it is also there on normal viewing mode.
