sony laptop cpu problem

    got my new laptop last saturday from america, sony vaio tr2ap and i know how laptop down clock to save the battery and such but my battery life is very long as it is and it usually down clocks to like 100mhz n 300mhz and its very fricken slow, so i want to disable this to leave it at 1000mhz all the time, you cant access it in the bios so does anyone know how to do it??

    it becomes very slow and even when im charging [atm] its 357mhz....

    very annoying:/

    Go to your contol panel, power options, and change your power scgeme from "portable / laptop" to something like always on, minimal power management etc.
