I want to get a phone line installed in the house, then broadband.
There are phone line wires (no connectors though) left from a previous installation/disconnection. Do you think I'll get the 30 euro charge for installation, or the 130 euro?

Can I arrage it with the eircom guy?

€30. You can check it out on www.eircom.ie.

If the line was active within the last 12 months, they can open the line up without coming around...costs are 29.95...can be done within a matter of an hour...

If the line was not active for a year or more, then they send a Technican out, and it will cost around the 120 Euro mark.
