I have a version. The one google gave away for free.
But still waiting to get a network card so I can get the net before trying it.

Have a read here or do a search for Lindows.
Btw I read in Linux Format todat that they had to change the name to Lin---s. [known as Lin-dash.]

    You could always try this.

I bought Linux User & Developer Issue 37 in Easons 2 days ago and it included Lindows OS4.5 free on the cover.

It's basically a windows replacement and pretty nice too. Very easy to get running. Found the modem in my Toshiba Laptop and a Linksys WiFi card without any hassle.

If your new to Linux and want a step on the ladder then you could do worse.

    Tinky

Tried installing it on my laptop there a few nights ago, it wouldn't load at all. Laptop is one of those lidl ones, but Knoppix/MandrakeMove/RedHat 9 all worked on it in the past.
