Looking at buying me one of these. The price seems to have become somewhat reasonable (~€260 - about twice what I paid for the 64MB Muvo).

It's got a few good reviews on Amazon, but I want to know other people's opinion of it.

It's 4gigs - more than enough to hold all of my Mp3s three times over. By the time I need more space, a much bigger player will cost half as much, so it's not even a concern.

My main concern is the screen - it seems kind of small. If you have 500-1000 songs, how easy is it to navigate through your collection?

    Cheers :)

if you have a mate in the states or are planning a trip there soon check out the ipod mini same hard drive space (4gig) and are $250 (€203)

screen is big enough on them aswell

muvo^2 has no proper database management so you have to arrange your files in folders or copy them over as part of m3u playlists.
If you fill it up with 4GB of MP3s you'll have problems finding tracks you want when you want.

i think this player is only usb1 which is far too slow for transferring 4gbs

    Muvo^2 is a USB 2.0 device.

Screen is very small and displays very little useful information about files that are being played or browsed.

Mabye a Zen would be a better option?

I'd agree with COL_LOKI. I picked up a Zen NX 30 gig for 300 EUR a few months ago. was a special weekly offer on OCUK at the time, but that sounds a tad expensive for just 4 gigs.

A lot of people with DSLR bought this to get their hands on a cheapo 4gb Microdrive:

AFAIK the cheapest place (cept USA) to buy these is www.computeruniverse.net , might save you a few bob and they have a huge range of MP3 players....

[edit] Yea the new Zen Xtra 30gb is available for €295 which is damm cheap for a great product. Its the newer version with the blue, larger screen.
